Memorial Day!
Last night, Patrick's cold was pretty bad, so we didn't go out to our Israeli folk dance group like we usually do. So, that gave us some time to go over a "New" "old song" that we had started years ago. We really want to get the Message inside our songs, and it takes prayer and time to make sure that people understand. We worked hard and came up with something that we think will be very inspiring. This one is called, "Behind the Veil"
Then as I was taking a hot bath, it always seems to be a time that the Father can get through to me because I am not busy, but just resting and listening. AND suddenly, like a flash, I remembered a beautiful song that Patrick wrote 30-some years ago. This song, in fact, is VERY important, because it is the main song that we would sing together when we first met! So it has a LOT of meaning, and even though it is in French, we felt it was important to include it in our repertoire. This song is called, "Une Eternity" which means "An Eternity" and it is all about anticipating the return of Messiah, which goes along with the general theme of our CD!
As our inspiration mounts, Abba gave us a new melody today! This looks like it will be a "Niggun". For those of you unfamiliar with the word "Niggun" it is melody with a musical and lyrical returning theme based on Scripture used for worship, so we can all Praise the Father together!
I am off now to visit an elderly cousin. (She is 98!!! She lives alone and is a spunky person! Bless her heart!)
